What does one do when one finds oneself with loads of leftovers and unused groceries the day after the Christmas extravaganza? Simple. One invites Hanno over for a meal. Hanno, about 2.1 meters/7 feet tall, or twice the size of Ant (oh, please, please, please click that link! - and turn up your sound!), will easily eat what normally would be eaten by three people.

So today I bought some salmon, and with it prepared Brussels sprouts (unused from yesterday), mange-touts (unused), broccoli (leftover), potato-slices (unused) and the remainder of the ice cream with warm cherries for what could be called the Third Christmas Day. It was a big meal, fortunately about 80% eaten by Hanno. Me, I will not eat anymore before we are in June 2007. My scales advised me so this morning.

After dinner I showed Hanno some of my pictures that are on Flickr. I will soon upload my 10,000th picture to Flickr so I thought it nice mentioning. I also mentioned my cousin Peggy's pictures and showed him her collection from her blog. That's when things went wrong in a way. Hanno was very enthusiastic about Peggy's pictures - quite right because she does make beautiful pictures - and then he started surfing Flickr and pointing out all these fantastic pictures (fantastic indeed) that he found everywhere. And all the time I was just sat there, screaming out (at least quietly): "And what about MY pictures!"... but of course he was right.

The quality of the pictures he selected was very much higher than any of my pictures. Let's hope the new camera will improve that. In the mean time I did notice at least some correlation between what Hanno classifies as a great picture and pictures with naked women as the topic (you see, Hanno has this major flaw: he is cute but straight). So now I will start looking for models: females only and willing to go nude. Anything to keep Hanno happy. Apply here.
